U/S Yesterday

It went great!! The doc and chad saw a faint h/b, of course I saw nothing. She said everything look great, Im going back in two weeks and then again two weeks after that, so I get two more u/s in the next 4 weeks!! Wohoo!! I love getting lots of u/s! Well, here he is... Spot!!

BIG relief!!!

OK so another thing I was worried about with changing jobs was insurance. I won't be elegible for insurance at my new job until 7/1. So I e-mailed the HR lady today and she sent me info on Cobra. I was afraid of how much it would cost... well its only $250... I currently pay $120. BUT the cool thing is, I have 60 days from 5/31 (my last day of coverage) to decide if I want it or not. And, if I decide I want it, it is retroactive to 6/1, and will cover and elegible claims acquired during that period. So pretty much... I can NOT pay for it now, then if something happens, I can go back and pay for it and it will cover anything that happened. Pretty cool eh?

What else is cool is that since I have already paid for this month's insurance, my coverage doesn't end until 5/31. This means I probably won't even have a d/a the month that I dont have insurance. I am 8 weeks on 5/24, which is right around when I would have my first OB appointment - still covered - then I will be 12 weeks on 06/21... so if I can just put that appointment off for 1.5 weeks... I should be all set. But if not it should be OK for me to have to pay for one appointment out of pocket. And again, if something happens, I can always retro my insurance. Not that it really matters, cause I have a high deductible plan that doesn't pay for anything until the deductible is met, so everything is pratically out of pocket anyways!

I am just so relieved that this is going to work out. WOHOO!!!!

Freaking Out...

OK , so the thought of starting a new job... who does not know I am pregnant... while having m/s is freaking me out!! I will be 7w2d when I start.... right in the middle of the worst time! I am planning on telling about 4 weeks after I start (2nd tri probably) but my actualy supervisor is going to be the one training me. So I think she will get a little suspicious if I am wearing sea bands and drinking ginger ale all the time!!! I have no idea how she will react, my manager already knows that we were trying, so I am not worried about him, but I AM worried about my supervisor, because she had no idea. They can't fire me right? Like if I tell her in the first week or two, she can't fire me? I just want to PROVE myself before telling, that way they can see that I AM a really hard worker. But I don't know if I will be able to hide it. I pray that m/s doesn't hit me too hard so that I can hide it.

I am feeling pretty good so far, nothing too bad really, but I know at 6 weeks is when it really hits. Ill be 6 weeks on Saturday... I guess next week will probably give me a pretty good indication of how things will be!! Only 6 more days here!! WOHOO!!

Hot Damn!!

Well I went on the second interview for the A/P position this morning... they offered me the job right there on the spot! Wohoo!! I am getting a $4/hr raise! Thats so awesome... and they have pretty good benefits as well and they give out bonuses!! I have to go in for a drug test and physical on Monday morning, so that sucks, but totally worth it. So much is changing so fast and it is so exciting!

I never updated my blog but my 16DPO beta came back at 633!! Its a really strong number so I am really happy with it. Now I can't wait for my u/s on 5/12!
