D/A Update

Well it was the longest and most stressful doctor's appointment I have ever had. They took some blood and made me pee in a cup. I scheduled and u/s for May 12th, at which time they will check my lining and the cyst and hopefully we will be able to see a heartbeat.

I was given progesterone supplements that I get to stick up my hoo-ha. They are "natural" supplements rather than synthetic and I have to get them from a special pharmacy... they are idiots at this pharmacy. I get to do it 2x a day... OH JOY! I haven't had any side effects from them yet.... thank goodness... and Im still not really feeling pregnant... just some cramps in my back.

I AM rather moody though....

I feel like I rained on everyone's parade by getting pregnant. All the ladies I have been close to are now saddened because they have not had a BFP. I feel for them , I really do, I remember what it was like when someone ~else~ got a BFP.... I just hate being THAT person. Don't get me wrong, I am estatic to be pregnant, I just wish everyone else could be pregnant too... blah.

It's simply hard. Try not to see your non-pregnant friends as raining on your parade. Try to understand it's simply self-preservation.

You say "I remember what it was like when someone ~else~ got a BFP". Try seeing other people get their BFPs 3 times longer than you tried. I'm not saying you are undeserving or ANYTHING of the like, just pointing out it's hard, and had you been forced to try longer, you would of felt how much harder it was to deal with. Think of how much you changed from C2 to C8. Simply 6 months made you do a 180 on how hard it was on your heart. So please, don't think people aren't happy for you, they are just sad for themselves.

A baby is a miracle no matter when s/he's conceived. I just wish it wasn't so hard on the woman with an empty tummy to celebrate ALL miracles.

No I do not think they are raining on MY parade... I feel like I am raining on THEIR parade. I know they are happy for me, but I know it is hard at the same time.

Im not even going to try to see what people feel like who tried longer than me, I can NOT imagine what it is like, I can't even try.

Trust me, I wish it wasn't so hard too. Not just for "infertiles" to accept BFP's, but for intfertiles to get that BFP themselves.
